Mechanical Street Sweepers
Mechanical street sweeping was the first method that street sweepers used, as early as the late 19th century. Even now, the mechanical sweeping design still works. These sweepers clean by directing dirt and debris under the vehicle with side gutter brooms, then finishing the job with a large main broom on the underside which throws the debris onto an elevator and into the hopper.
From the street sweepers below, the Schwarze M4 & M6 models are purely mechanical sweepers, while the Dulevo sweepers use both mechanical sweeping and vacuums.
